"That damned wizard IS trying to kill me!"
I had just dodged several more traps, but I was fully aware this time. I had to keep in mind that Rowen was not to be taken lightly. The wounds I sustained were healing rapidly but the side of my top was drenched in blood...I was starting to feel rather thirsty and cursed myself for not taking one of those humans while I had the chance.
Although I was certain that I was nearing the wizard, his trail became weaker and weaker, until it vanished. But there was something else...So vague...I muttered and decided to follow this instead.
I rounded a bend in the corridor and saw two figures disappearing into one of the hundreds of passages. I dashed after them. It must be them!
I reached the corner and got hit full in the stomach with some blue force. I slammed into the wall but quickly regained my composure. I landed low, like a cat, on the floor. Looking up I saw the stunned expression of Rowen and the malicious glare of Shendron.
"Isurra?" The wizard asked nervously.
"Don't just stand there! Hit her again! She's a Vampire!" Roared Shendron.
I stood up, raising my hands.
"Wait!" I hissed. "I'm not going to harm you."
Shendron laughed gruffly, I began to sense the werewolf again.
"Please, we are here to complete a mission, thats all! We don't have to be friends!"I said, watching Shendrons every move.
The wizard seemed lost for words, but Shendron was preparing to fight.
Suddenly, a spell came zooming by my head, it hit the wall and seemed to shatter into thousands of golden stars. I thought nothing of it, assuming the spell had missed me. Then a blinding white light flashed, I swore. The light burned my skin. When I opened my eyes again, I saw the wizard shakily trying to prepare another spell. I bared my teeth and then Shendron stepped forward.
"A Bloody Werewolf." I whispered.
